Handling Tools:
These tools are a major part of modern drilling, they are used to hang, move and rotate drill pipes in and around drilling wells. Although most of these tools are used to hold and move pipes vertically, some of these tools, such as elevators, are used to move pipes from horizontal to vertical during drilling. Some of these tools are as follows: Bushing, Elevator, Safety clamps, Manual Tongs, Power Tong, Slips, Dies, etc., each of which has a special application during drilling operations.
